Open Pricer is a comprehensive B2B Pricing Suite, composed of three user modules (Smart Quote, Contract Monitoring and Price Policy Optimization). These modules are accessible through web browsers or seamlessly from the CRM system. Each module can be implemented with a staged approach (Starter, Progress or Premium configurations).

  • Smart Quote: provides decision support to define precise quotes across all sales channels: fieldsales, telesales, web. It enables to build the offer, retrieve applicable price policy, control discounting through validation workflow and implement price plan in billing system
  • Contract Monitoring: enables to systematically track actual contract performance versus commitments defined at contracting time and renegotiate price or other conditions in case of significant deviance
  • Price Policy Optimization: enables pricing analysts to simulate and set price policies by customer micro-segment, publish them in real time, monitor their performance and tune according to changing market conditions

Technology

Open Pricer is based on a full web (J2EE) architecture and a central database with support of Oracle and PostgreSQL (preferred databases) and support of other databases such as Teradata, SQL Server and MySQL.

The architecture enables scalability in terms of number of users and data volumes. It supports multiple business units and provides instant visibility/control over deal pricing at the business unit/country level, the division/region level and at the global/head-offices level.

Integration

Open Pricer integrates with the enterprise information system through different scenarios depending on the implemented modules. Typically, OP imports on a daily basis customer transaction records from the order management and billing systems and customers hierarchies from the CRM. Advanced integration variants permit to:
